02 Series Resin Flex Pad for Marble & Soft Concrete

Description
The 02 Series of diamond tooling is a proprietary matrix of high quality abrasive
diamonds bonded with various resins designed for long life, exceptional durability,
high flexibility and strong grind or polish on harder concrete or natural stone
surfaces. The 02 Series Resins are designed for wet or dry applications and the face
design provides excellent channeling for dust or slurry. The consistency of
performance is outstanding. The manufacturing process ensures even distribution of
abrasives through the resin adding to the longevity and performance of the tooling
Uses
The 02 Series is predominately used in the latter stages of polishing hard concrete
(400 grit and higher). The proprietary resin mix creates high friction on harder
concrete and creates better reflectivity. It is commonly used throughout the process
on harder natural stone surfaces. The 01 Series is also an excellent choice where very
little or no aggregate should be exposed.
Application
The 02 Series is an ideally suited tool to be used on hard
concrete (5 and above on the MOHS hardness scale), terrazzo and natural stone
surfaces. The flexibility of the tool is desirable where wavy or uneven surfaces are an
issue as the flexibility allows the tool to better follow the contour of the surface.

Coverage
Coverage can vary from
surface to surface
depending on roughness,
porosity and density of
the medium being
applied. Application
technique can also vary
the coverage. On flat,
dense surfaces, the
coverage should
generally range from
3000 to 6000 square feet
per set. Wet grinding
will usually extend the
life of the tooling.

Didn’t work

I called and spoke with a sales person before ordering these two flex pads and a backer pad for a particular job. I told them what I was doing and was told that it would work but it didn’t at all. After only 15 minutes both discs were trashed and the backer pad was coming apart as well. I wasted almost $50 on this stuff including freight. I ended up buying another one piece concrete grinding this from Amazon for $9.5 including the freight and it did the job perfectly. Very disappointed!
